New MLA Handbook

Earlier this month the Modern Language Association (MLA) released the seventh edition of its popular MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers. The good folks at Purdue University's Online Writing Lab (OWL) have a simple rundown of the changes on their useful Style Guide site.

Here's a teaser on the changes: Underlining has been totally replaced by italics, and URLs are no longer required in citations. For details on these and other updates, please consult a copy of the handbook or check out Purdue's rundown.
